- Community Programs
- More than a dozen varied programs, some with action guides to make the connection between the research and positive societal change. Some of these are highlighted below.
- Choices for a Changing World
- Portfolio of educational equity related programs, from helping schools assess the gender fairness of their programs to a "how to" guide for a conference that helps adult women prepare to return to school.
- Harassment Free Hallways
- A user-friendly resource guide to help parents, students, schools, and school districts keep schools harassment-free. See also the Bullying Program co-sponsored with NEA.
- Community Coalitions Manual
- Online version of the Educational Foundation 2000 report that has advice and tips for all aspects of a community project, from project management, to working with the media, to fundraising. Includes an extensive list of possible coalition partners. See also National Coalition of Women's Organizations.
- School and Community Project Database
- Learn what other have done with Community Action Grants and Eleanor Roosevelt Teacher Fellowships.
- 21st Century Branch and State Project Database
- See the project descriptions from branch and state 21st Century Platinum and Gold winners. Contact information can be provided if you want to do a similar project.
- Voter Education Campaign
- With each election, the Association improves the tools it offers to run voter registration campaigns and to engage voters in the issues that are critical in the Association Public Policy Program.

- Legal Advocacy Fund Campus Outreach Programs - scheduled on demand as funding permits
- One was held April 12 in California, sponsored by the Gloria Weston Giving Circle. There was a 2003 event in NC.
- Women-of-Color As Educational Leaders: A Career Pathways Conference
- April 16 in LA. An example of the varied conferences the Association is now sponsoring.
Meetings and Conferences
In the spirit of lifelong learning, there's no better way to jump start a local program than by attending a meeting with like-minded women to find out what is going on in other areas.
